About Our Service
Q1. What is Crowdfunding PR?
Crowdfunding PR is a Japan-based team that helps Japanese crowdfunding projects reach backers worldwide. We create English pages, manage payments through our Shopify store, and arrange international shipping from Japan.
Q2. Are the projects on this site official?
Yes. Every project we feature is an official campaign on a Japanese platform (such as Makuake). We only launch a project on this site after receiving written authorization from the original creator to handle English communication, international orders, and overseas shipping.
Q3. Where are you located?
We operate from Japan and work closely with Japanese creators and manufacturers. All products ship from Japan unless otherwise stated on the product page.
Orders & Payment
Q4. How do I place an order?
Simply choose the product or reward you want, add it to your cart, and complete checkout in English. Prices are shown in your selected currency, and payment is processed securely via Shopify’s payment providers.
Q5. Can I cancel my order after placing it?
No. Because many products are produced in limited quantities through crowdfunding or pre-orders, all orders are final and cannot be cancelled after payment is completed. This applies to all orders, including those placed through newsletter-exclusive links or discounts. Please check the details carefully before confirming your order.
Q6. Which payment methods do you accept?
Available payment methods depend on your region and Shopify’s supported providers. Typically, we accept major credit cards and other common online payment methods shown at checkout.
Shipping & Delivery
Q7. From where and how are items shipped?
All orders are shipped from Japan. We primarily use trusted international carriers such as DHL Express or equivalent services with tracking and delivery confirmation.
Q8. How long will delivery take?
Delivery time depends on your destination and customs processing. As a general guideline:
- Asia-Pacific: approx. 3–7 business days after dispatch
- North America / Europe: approx. 5–10 business days after dispatch
- Other regions: may vary depending on local conditions
For crowdfunding or pre-order items, shipping will begin once production is completed by the creator. Estimated schedules are shown on each product page.
Q9. Do I have to pay customs duties or taxes?
Depending on your country, your order may be subject to import duties, taxes, or fees charged by customs. These costs are not included in our product prices or shipping fees. The recipient is responsible for any applicable charges upon delivery.
Returns, Defects & Warranty
Q10. What if my item arrives damaged or defective?
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue. After reviewing your case, we may offer a replacement, partial refund, or full refund according to our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Q11. Do you accept returns for change of mind?
In general, we do not accept returns for change of mind, personal preference, or minor differences in color or appearance. Many products are produced specifically for campaign backers, so we ask you to review the details carefully before purchasing.
Q12. Is there a warranty on the products?
Some products include a manufacturer warranty (for example, 6-month coverage for defects). If applicable, the warranty details will be listed on the product page. For any issues during the warranty period, please contact us first and we will coordinate with the creator or manufacturer.

Q13. What kind of emails will I receive if I subscribe?
If you subscribe to our newsletter, you may receive updates about new Japanese crowdfunding projects, early-access campaigns, and special offers for overseas backers. We aim to keep emails relevant and not excessive.
Q14. How can I unsubscribe from the newsletter?
You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link found at the bottom of our emails, or by contacting us directly and requesting removal from the list.
